At Rubber Soul Vintage, we like to surround ourselves with vintage furniture and posters that highlight the good ole days. There’s a few ways to bring vintage decorations into your home, too.

The first way is thrift store shopping. You can find great pieces, some barely even used, for even better prices. And if you don’t love the color or fabric, but the design is ideal- there are always slip-covers!

The second way is by raiding your parent’s and grandparent’s attics and basements for unused pieces that they’ve completely forgotten about. You may even be able to talk your family into giving them to you for free.

The third way is by looking in vintage furniture stores or online. Self-proclaimed vintage furniture stores tend to be a little pricier though. But websites like Ebay, Etsy, and Craigslist can keep the prices down because there is so much competition to sell.

There is also an amazing website called retroplanet.com. They sell new “retro” goods from kitchenware to rugs to jukeboxes to anything you can think of to furnish your store or humble abode.
